They gave me an a nice size and air-conditioned room with air con, the balcony plus comfortable bed. There were a coffee maker, refrigerators, and glassware too.

The room was very comfortable and clean, providing a nice place to relax. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. They even arranged a taxi for us in the early hours of the morning for our early flight. The hotel is located right by the beach, offering a beautiful view of the sunset. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, including a tasty Sri Lankan curry. Additionally, there is a clean pool where you can unwind and enjoy your time.

There were no stores or nearby restaurants, limiting our options for dining and entertainment. The remote location of the hotel made it challenging to explore the surrounding areas, as it was far from major attractions and points of interest.

The hotel had a beautiful balcony with a great sea view. The sunset view from there was amazing. The staff was professional and friendly, and we enjoyed every meal, especially the breakfast and the set menu dinner. The hotel had great wifi, which was a plus for us. The location was also a positive point as it was away from the busy town, allowing us to enjoy the natural Indian Ocean sound while sleeping.

The hotel's taxi service was quite expensive compared to other options available in Sri Lanka. Despite the convenience of having someone meet us at the airport, we found that there were much cheaper taxis available.

Fabulous and pleasant accommodation with GOOD setting close enough to the beach, the airport at 6.30am and wonderful Sri Lanka.

Well, it was a fine stay on holidays. The location was quiet and comfy - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go.

Hans and his staff were absolutely AMAZING, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The food in the restaurant was mind-blowingly delicious, definitely the best we've had in Sri Lanka! The pool was super nice and well maintained, perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The beach, although not suitable for swimming, was jaw-droppingly beautiful and provided a stunning view from our balcony. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and chirping birds was a truly magical experience. Ziegler Cottage was the perfect place for us to unwind and get our bearings in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended for a wonderful and satisfying stay!

Staff is mind-blowingly wonderful, always going the extra mile. Food is super, especially the Sri Lankan curry and french fries. Large, freshly painted rooms. GREAT pool and garden next to the beach. Convenient location near the airport.

We loved the friendly staff, delicious food, and clean facilities. The location was perfect for enjoying the beach and experiencing peace and tranquility. The short ride from the airport was a bonus.
